Intrauterine insemination (IUI)

This treatment is a fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a woman's uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of sperm that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization.

In vitro fertilisation (IVF)

This is is a process of fertilisation where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body, in vitro. The process involves monitoring and stimulating a woman's ovulatory process, removing an ovum or ova from the woman's ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a liquid in a laboratory.

Prenatal Diagnosis

Prenatal Diagnosis is very important , your doctor will determine if your unborn baby has any health issue such as the Down syndrome. In a time when such health issues have become more frequent, it is important that such a test is done. There are certain tests namely; Amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) that help diagnose genetic disorders before birth. If there had been such disorders in the family before, it is highly recommended that such a test is conducted before hand because some parents are at a risk of having a baby with such baby genetically. Identifying if your baby has any disorder as such is highly important because, if your baby is identified to have such disorders, you need to start treatments right after the delivery or you may have to decide if you are going to continue the delivery if the disorder is highly incurable. Usually all the parents need not undergo such a test. It is recommended only if the mother is 35 years or older by the due date. Also you should undergo such a test if you have had a child with abnormalities before. This test is helpful in identifying if you or your partner carries such a disorder in their genes as well.

Fetal Scanning

A fatal scan, an anomaly scan or the famous ultra sound scan lets your doctor have a close inspection at your baby and the situation of the uterus. This scan is carried out to check if the baby is developing normally and if the situation of the uterus is good for the baby. You can undergo this scan when you are between 18 weeks and 20 weeks plus six days pregnant. If your baby is 20 weeks old in the womb, you will be able to see the face and the hands of your baby. This test could be a very exciting to you since may be this can be the first time you see your baby. You can also determine the gender of your baby through this scan, but the most important reason to undergo this scan is to check if the growth of your baby is normal and healthy. Another thing you should keep in mind is that the gender of your baby which is determined through this scan might be not accurate due to the facts such as wind and tummy fat. More than the gender of your baby, it is the shape and structure of your baby’s head, your baby’s spine, baby’s abdominal wall, heart, stomach, kidneys, baby’s arms, legs, hands and feet are what are inspected through this test. Dating scans are done between 12th to 13th weeks of pregnancy. Anomaly scans are done between 20th and 22nd weeks. Growth scan are done around 32 weeks. For dating scan it’s necessary for you to come with a full bladder. Other scans having full bladder is not essential. Fasting is not at all necessary for fetal scan. Gynecological Scanning

Gynecological Scanning appointments are available in our centre. This scanning mainly for who are sub fertile called Tran’s vaginal scan, in short TV scan. For fertility scan , patient need to come ideally on he 12th day of the cycle . If you are asked for particularly day you will have to come on day 5 or according to the Doctors instructions.

Seminal Fluid Analysis

Prior to coming abstinence for three days from sex is essential. Sample should be ideally collected in the premises and it should be handed over to the center immediately. If there is any difficulty in collecting the sample in the premises please inform the staff, then you will be directed to the doctor. Results will be available on the same day but you need not wait for the result to be shown to the doctor Because it will be seen by the doctor before you get the result.

Blood test and Hormonal assays

Blood test are done only when there is a request from a doctor. And the result will be available according to the schedule given .
